We work hard to maintain our thriving partnership with parents and carers. We are delighted to welcome parents to share in all aspects of school life including special events, assemblies and celebrations. We value the responses to our regular consultations with parents and are grateful for the support parents give to our school, enabling us to offer trips and visits to enhance the curriculum. We hold several Family Learning events and courses. It is a real joy to see not only pupils but so many adults being challenged, having fun and achieving. We are very proud of our unique local community. Wisbech has so much to offer our children in curriculum enhancement. Classes make regular visits to many places in our town and area including the Castle, Museum, churches and National Trust houses. We also take part in many community activities and celebrations. We value the new diversity of our local community and take part in many multi-cultural events available to schools. We are members of the Wisbech Schools Partnership, a very strong and active learning community. All Wisbech and district schools make up this group. Membership means a sharing of skills and resources and exciting curriculum opportunities for the staff, parents and children of the eighteen schools involved.
We often raise funds for local, national and in-school causes. We are very grateful for all the support which parents and carers have shown. One of our fund-raising ventures enabled us to purchase a Buccaneer Ship for the playground, at our Early Years Base. The ship has become quite a focal point in our playground and is loved by all.
